New Year celebration with elderly from Clementi
We are thrilled to share the success of our recent celebration of Chinese New Year! It was a joyous occasion as we welcomed the elderly residents from Clementi Blk 344, Blk 366, and Blk 420. The event was filled with delicious food, laughter, and the warmth of community spirit. QP involved and made this Chinese New Year celebration truly special for our cherished seniors!

Heart Meals to LB Ghim Moh and Mei Ling AAC
Besides sending supports for Hearty Meals to 3 Lions Befrienders AAC at Clementi, we announced that we are starting involving ourselves in sending Hearty Meals to LB Ghim Moh and Mei Ling AAC. We will send 50 pax per centre every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

On September 17, 2021, we began our charity journey with Lion Befrienders, alongside the Lion Club of Singapore Bedok, led by Past President Lion Richard Khoo by providing hot meals to elderly residents and have since expanded our support.
 
We’re now excited to sponsor Bread Era’s aromatic buns for the seniors’ afternoon snacks, aiming to bring joy and reduce loneliness. It’s crucial to keep our seniors connected and engaged, and we’re proud to support the Active Ageing Centres in their mission to encourage community involvement and social activities.
 
Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative. Together, we continue to make a positive impact.

On 24th February 2024, we had the honour of celebrating the joyous occasion of Chinese New Year with 200 seniors from LB Clementi Active Aging Centres, as we ushered in the magnificent Year of the Dragon!
 
This heartwarming celebration was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Lions Club of Singapore Bedok and the Management Committee of Lions Befrienders Clementi Active Aging Centres. Together, we created a memorable event filled with laughter, camaraderie, and cultural richness.
